Pre-orders start for HG 1/144 White Gundam model kit
Bandai Spirits Hobby Division has confirmed the opening of pre-orders for its latest Gunpla release, the HG 1/144 “White Gundam.”
This new High Grade (HG) kit brings the Earth Federation Forces’ new mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX to life in the 1/144 scale.
The Gundam franchise, which began in 1979, is a cornerstone of Japanese pop culture, known for its iconic giant robots (Mobile Suits) and narratives exploring conflict and humanity.
This new “White Gundam” kit represents the mobile suit in its original, familiar tricolor scheme, before it was captured by Char Aznable and modified, becoming the “Red Gundam.”
The “White Gundam” features a different side head design compared to its “Red Gundam” counterpart.
It also includes a newly molded Hyper Bazooka and the shield can be mounted on either the arm or backpack using joint parts, allowing for flexible display options.
The kit comes with the following accessories:
- Weaponry x1 set
- Hand parts x1
- Marking seal x1
- Seal x1
The HG 1/144 “White Gundam” is scheduled for release in December 2025.
It will be priced at ¥2,420 (tax included) and online pre-orders for the model kit began on the 5th of June at most online hobby goods retailers.
