Pre-orders re-open for Kasane Teto tactical fashion accessories
A fashion accessory collaboration between the virtual singer Kasane Teto and the tactical gear brand “Chuocho Tactical Crafts” is receiving a second round of pre-orders due to popular demand.
Kasane Teto has a unique history, originating not from a company but from the Japanese internet forum 2chan as an elaborate April Fool’s joke intended to mimic the Vocaloid character announcements.
Despite her prank origins, the character gained a massive organic following, becoming a prominent voice in the free UTAU singing synthesizer software before eventually being developed into an official voicebank for Synthesizer V.
The collaborating brand, Chuocho Tactical Crafts, is known for fusing a “tactical” or armored aesthetic with principles of sculptural beauty to create its products.
This collection centers on Kasane Teto’s most recognizable visual feature: her drill-style twintails.
The design philosophy was to create items that could be equipped in daily life, balancing fan-focused iconography with real-world functionality.
Each piece, from hair accessories to T-shirts, was designed to reference Teto whilst still maintaining a sense of tactical style.
The result is a series of items that embody a “structured cuteness” by merging Teto’s character with the brand’s equipment-like style.
This second pre-order round includes the following items:
- Twin-Drill T-shirt – ¥4,400
- Armored Belt Strap Kasane Teto Model – ¥8,800
- Acrylic Earrings (available for pierced and non-pierced ears) – ¥4,620
- Drill Barrette – ¥4,950
- Drill Pendant – ¥5,500
- Armored Ribbon Unit Kasane Teto (SV ver.) – ¥9,350
Since the initial release of this collection, a new figure of Teto has been announced by popular figure manufacturer Good Smile Company, which can now be ordered alongside the tactical goods at specific retailers.
The current pre-order window for the Chuocho Tactical Crafts x Kasane Teto goods at most retailers opened on the 26th of June and is scheduled to run until 11:59 PM on the 23rd of July.
Orders can be placed through the official Chuocho Tactical Crafts storefronts on BOOTH and Shopify, as well as the Good Smile Company online store.
The Japanese retailer GEE! STORE is also accepting online pre-orders and the products will be available in the following physical locations:

The items from this second production run are expected to be shipped between the end of September and the beginning of October 2025.
