Popular 2-in-1 Master Grade Gunpla kit to be re-released

Gunpla model kit enthusiasts now have another chance to acquire a versatile kit that allows you to build two different mobile suits.
BANDAI SPIRITS has announced the re-release of the “MG 1/100 Gundam Stormbringer FA (Fatal Ash) / GM Turbulence” kit, which builds one model that can be switched into either of the two mobile suits by using alternate parts.

The “Gundam Stormbringer FA (Fatal Ash)” and “GM Turbulence” are mobile suits that originally appeared in the online light novel “Gundam Build Divers GIMM & BALL’S World Challenge”.
This series is part of the broader “Gundam Build Divers” universe, which centers around Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN), a virtual reality game where players use custom-built Gunpla models to compete.

Mobile suits from this series are often unique interpretations or powerful custom variants of existing designs, showcasing the creativity of their builders within the virtual world.
The Master Grade series of Gunpla kits are used to build models that feature intricate inner frames, superior articulation, and detailed aesthetics.

They offer a more advanced and rewarding building experience compared to lower grades of kit.
One of the key features of this particular kit is its dual build option.

Builders can choose to assemble either the “Gundam Stormbringer FA” or the “GM Turbulence” by simply selecting different head and shoulder parts included in the box.

This provides excellent value and customization potential for hobbyists, allowing them to effectively choose between two mobile suit designs from the same kit.

The Gundam Stormbringer FA is known for its powerful appearance and enhanced capabilities, while the GM Turbulence offers a more robust, heavy-duty aesthetic, typically seen as a highly customized version of the foundational GM (Gundam Mass-production) mobile suit.

The re-release of popular or limited-run Gunpla kits is a common practice by BANDAI SPIRITS, often driven by high demand from members of the Gunpla community.

This Master Grade (MG) kit is scheduled to be available again in August 2025 and will be priced at 6,710 yen (approx. $46.12 USD) / £34.27 GBP).

The kit is available to pre-order now via hobby stores, specialist retailers and Premium Bandai.
