Palworld Dating Sim "More than Just Pals" Reveals Characters in New Trailer

Pocketpair has officially confirmed that Palworld! More Than Just Pals, a dating simulation game set in the Palworld universe, is currently in active development for PC via Steam as of March 31, 2026.

Initially introduced as an April Fools’ joke on April 1, 2024, the developer has now released a new trailer and extensive character details to prove the project is legitimate.

The game takes place at the mysterious World Tree, where players experience a school life that balances romance with the survival mechanics of the original title, including the option to dismantle and eat the characters.

Among the primary cast are Katress, a mysterious transfer student who exhibits jealous tendencies, and Lovander, a senior student who treats the pursuit of romance like a hunt.

Players will also encounter Zoe, a strong-willed childhood friend living with her brother Grizzbolt, and Chillet Ignis, the innocent and clingy younger sister of Chillet.

The faculty includes a seductive school nurse named Saya who acts as a student confidante while hiding her own secrets.

The roster is rounded out by the energetic spider-girl Tarantriss and a yandere character named Splatterina, who is described as a possessive, knife-wielding girl with a penchant for confinement.

Along with the character reveals, Pocketpair shared several screenshots and a special video in both English and Japanese on March 31, 2026, to showcase the visual novel’s art style and gameplay.
