SEGA Reveals Sakura Wars 30th Anniversary Logo, Exclusive Merch and Events Coming Soon

SEGA officially revealed the Sakura Wars 30th anniversary logo on March 31, 2026, marking the beginning of celebrations for the long-running franchise.
The company confirmed that it will announce specific details regarding 30th anniversary merchandise and special events shortly.
The strategy RPG adventure series is set to reach its official 30th anniversary milestone on September 27, 2026.
The franchise originally debuted on the Sega Saturn on September 27, 1996, and has since established itself as a staple of the tactical role-playing genre.
Over the past three decades, the main series has produced six major installments, including the 1998 sequel Sakura Wars 2: Thou Shalt Not Die and the 2001 release Sakura Wars 3: Is Paris Burning?.
The series continued its momentum into the early 2000s with Sakura Wars 4: Fall in Love, Maidens in 2002 and Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love in 2005.
In 2019, SEGA successfully launched a rebooted title, simply titled Sakura Wars, to introduce the series to a new generation of hardware and players.
In addition to the primary entries, the property has expanded through various remakes and spin-off titles across multiple gaming platforms.
