NieR:Automata’s New Official Fashion Collab Recreates 2B’s Iconic Outfit
Image by Charlotte DavisJapanese fashion brand MAYLA has announced another collaboration with NieR Ver1.1a, this time transforming 2B’s iconic combat outfit into an elegant new blouse designed for everyday wear.
The “NieR Ver1.1a 2B Iconic Blouse” is available in separate “Cruel Black” and “Virtuous White” versions, both taking recognizable elements from 2B’s appearance without simply recreating her costume directly.

MAYLA has carried details from her outfit into the blouse’s chest cut, overall silhouette, and fabric choices, while the large ribbon around the neckline takes inspiration from the flowing movement of 2B’s skirt during battle.

The ends of that ribbon are embroidered with the YoRHa emblem, adding a more direct reference to the android organization at the center of NieR’s story.

The new blouse continues MAYLA’s wider NieR Ver1.1a fashion collection, which has already included 2B-inspired pumps, a long skirt, and hair accessories alongside short boots based on 9S.

Its black and white color options also match the previously released 2B skirt, allowing the pieces to be worn together as part of a more complete character-inspired outfit.

MAYLA has become particularly well known for translating recognizable anime and game characters into elaborate fashion pieces, with several major collaborations arriving throughout 2026.

Recent releases have included TRIGUN STARGAZE boots inspired by Vash the Stampede’s red coat and prosthetic arm, alongside a Demon Slayer loafer sneaker collection based on the Nichirin Swords and outfits of Tanjiro and five Hashira.

Pre-orders for the “NieR Ver1.1a 2B Iconic Blouse” opened through MAYLA’s official online store at 5:00 PM JST on September 4, 2026.

Both “Cruel Black” and “Virtuous White” are priced at ¥19,800 each (approx. $127 USD / £94 GBP), with the latest available production batch currently expected to begin shipping in early February 2027.
