New trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen’s “Culling Game” arc features the first look at Naoya Zen’in
A new TV commercial has been released for the upcoming theatrical event, Jujutsu Kaisen: “Shibuya Incident Special Edition” x “Culling Game Advanced Screening.”
This new commercial is split into two parts.
The “Shibuya Incident” segment features the song “SPECIALZ” and highlights the most intense moments from the anime’s second season.
The “Culling Game” segment is packed with new, never-before-seen cuts of animation from the upcoming third season.
This new footage provides a closer look at the highly anticipated confrontation between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, and also features the debut of the new character, Naoya Zen’in.
To coincide with the new trailer, the official character visual for Naoya Zen’in has also been revealed.
The art features the character with a bold, fearless smile that matches his somewhat arrogant and self-assured personality.
This theatrical presentation is a special, two-part event that will bridge the gap between the anime’s second and third seasons.
The first part is a newly edited compilation of the “Shibuya Incident” arc, while the second part is a world premiere, advanced screening of the first two full episodes of Season 3, “Culling Game – Part 1.”
A new “Naoya ver.” of the MoviTicke (advance movie ticket) will also be released, which features this new character visual.
A special “bundle” version of the ticket will be available, which includes an exclusive postcard and a glitter can badge.
Jujutsu Kaisen: “Shibuya Incident Special Edition” x “Culling Game Advanced Screening” is scheduled for a full theatrical release in Japan on Friday, the 7th of November.
The event will also be released in theaters worldwide, with a North American release (under the title Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution) scheduled for Friday, the 5th of December.
This will all be ahead of the full television broadcast of Season 3, which is scheduled to begin in January 2026.
