New RuriDragon POP UP PARADE Revealed by Good Smile Company

Pre-orders have officially begun for a new figure from Good Smile Company featuring the protagonist of the popular manga series RuriDragon.
The “Aoki Ruri POP UP PARADE L size” joins the lineup of affordable yet high-quality statues, offering fans a larger and more detailed version of the half-dragon high schooler.

The POP UP PARADE L Size line is designed to provide a level of quality and volume that rivals traditional scale figures, standing significantly larger than the standard releases in the series.

RuriDragon, written and illustrated by Masaoki Shindo, began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and quickly garnered a passionate following.

The story follows Ruri Aoki, a seemingly ordinary high school girl who wakes up one morning to discover horns growing out of her head.
Upon confronting her mother, she is casually informed that her father is actually a dragon, revealing her true nature as a human-dragon hybrid.

The series is celebrated for its unique “laid-back” approach to the supernatural genre, focusing on Ruri’s daily life and social interactions rather than high-stakes fantasy battles.

It depicts her struggles to fit in at school while managing her developing draconic traits, such as breathing fire when stressed or discharging electricity when sneezing.

This new figure features Ruri in her standard school uniform and perfectly captures the signature expression that defines her character.

The sculpt pays close attention to the textures of her uniform and the distinct curvature of her horns, ensuring a faithful reproduction of Shindo’s art style.
The figure stands at approximately 22cm in height, giving it a commanding yet adorable presence on a collector’s shelf.

The “POP UP PARADE Aoki Ruri L size” is priced at 8,800 JPY (approx. $59 USD / £46 GBP) and it is set for release in Japan in July 2026.
It will be available via the Good Smile Company Official Shop, as well as participating partner shops, such as HobbyLink Japan.
