New official PlayStation 30th anniversary watch is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide

Watchmaker Anicorn has announced a nostalgic new collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment to celebrate over three decades of gaming history.
The new timepiece serves as a tribute to the original console that revolutionized the industry upon its release in 1994 and will be limited to just 300 pieces worldwide.

The “PlayStation™ x ANICORN – The First PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch” is designed to encapsulate the essence of the 32-bit era through intricate visual homages.

The dial and strap are adorned with the four iconic shapes: Triangle, Circle, Cross, and Square, which have defined the PlayStation brand identity for 30 years.

In a clever nod to the original controller’s interface, the watch hands are shaped and decorated to resemble the “Start” and “Select” buttons, while the crown features an engraving of the “Power” button icon designed to evoke the tactile memory of powering on the console.

The top cover showcases the classic multicolor PlayStation logo, a symbol of innovation that has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide.

The package includes a unique accessory titled the “SAVE. LOAD. OVERWRITE. Memory Capsule,” which is a physical replica of the original PlayStation Memory Card true to the era’s design.

This capsule is embedded with an NFC chip that, when tapped, transports the user to a digital “Memory Board,” an interactive space inspired by game saves where users can “save” and “load” their own personal moments.

The “First PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch” will go on sale on December 18, 2025, at 10:00 PM EST via the Anicorn online store.

Pricing for the new watch is yet to be confirmed by Anicorn.

This release follows other high-end gaming hardware collaborations announced this week, such as the VITURE x Cyberpunk 2077 XR Glasses.
