New mofusand capsule toys turn “sea creature cats” into desktop clocks
Capsule toy manufacturer Kitan Club is set to release a new collection of miniature desktop clocks featuring the popular character brand “mofusand.”
The new product is the second in a series of watch-themed gacha, this time featuring the “Umi no Ikimono Nyan,” or “Sea Creatures Nyan,” designs.
“mofusand” is a massively popular character brand created by the illustrator Juno, which is known for its charming and humorous depictions of cats in a wide variety of different situations and costumes.
This new collection of capsule toys is a series of small, functional digital desktop clocks.
Each clock features a detailed figure of a mofusand cat dressed up as a different sea creature, sitting inside a small, themed cardboard box.
The clock face is integrated into the design, and the display can be switched between the time, the date, and a seconds counter.
The batteries in the clocks are also replaceable, allowing for long-term use.
The lineup features a total of five different cute and cool designs for fans to collect.

The “mofusand Sea Creatures Nyan Watch” is a capsule toy product, priced at ¥500 per attempt from a capsule toy machine.
The new collection is scheduled to begin its rollout at capsule toy locations across Japan from Friday, the 22nd of August, 2025.
