The new Magic Knight Rayearth anime project has reached a major milestone with the release of its first teaser trailer and a fresh key visual during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28, 2026.
Production officials confirmed that the series is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in October 2026, airing every Wednesday night at 11:45 PM on the TV Asahi network.

The voice cast for the three central protagonists has been revealed, featuring Ayane Sakura as the voice of Hikaru Shidou, Rumi Okubo as Umi Ryuuzaki, and Rie Takahashi as Fuu Hououji.
This new project follows the 30th anniversary of the original manga series created by the legendary artist collective CLAMP, which originally ran in Nakayoshi magazine from 1993 to 1996.
The story follows three middle school girls who are transported from Tokyo Tower to the magical world of Cephiro to become legendary Magic Knights and save Princess Emeraude.
Directing the new adaptation is Yui Miura, with Shigeru Murakoshi handling series composition and Satomi Watanabe responsible for the updated character designs.
The musical score will be a collaborative effort between Yuki Kajiura, Takumi Ozawa, and Shiho Terada, while the animation is being produced by E&H production under the planning of UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS.
