New hololive and Street Fighter 6 crossover manga released

A new manga series blending the worlds of “Street Fighter 6” and “hololive Production” has been released.
The collaboration features illustrations by artist Kangyū sensei, known for the official “Street Fighter 6” manga “Ganbare Juri-chan”.

“Street Fighter 6,” released in 2023, is the latest installment in Capcom’s iconic fighting game franchise, which has been a staple of arcade and console gaming for decades.
“hololive Production,” on the other hand, manages a massive roster of virtual YouTubers, or VTubers.

These digital entertainers use animated avatars to stream, perform, and interact with a global audience, blurring the lines between traditional idols and online content creators.
This unique collaboration manga highlights a special event taking place at Capcom-operated amusement facilities, bringing together four prominent hololive VTubers: Usada Pekora, Tokoyami Towa, Shishiro Botan, and La+ Darknesss.

These VTubers are members of different generations within hololive, each with a distinct personality and fanbase.

The collaboration manga by Kangyū sensei depicts these VTubers training alongside “Street Fighter 6” characters.

Each VTuber has been paired with a different fighter, and the wider collaboration will see multiple pieces of merchandise available based on each pairing.

One scene features Usada Pekora becoming an apprentice to Edmond Honda, the sumo wrestler from the Street Fighter series.

E. Honda is known for his powerful sumo techniques, including the “Hundred Hand Slap” and “Sumo Headbutt,” and his desire to spread sumo wrestling to the world.

In the manga, Pekora, while enjoying a hearty meal, unconsciously utters “gowasu,” a verbal tic associated with sumo wrestlers, and expresses joy at taking a step closer to becoming a sumo practitioner.
The second manga features Tokoyami Towa admiring the physique of Ed, a new character in “Street Fighter 6” known for his boxing and Psycho Power abilities, focusing on his impressive abs.

Shishiro Botan is shown undergoing “psycho” training with M. Bison, the tyrannical leader of Shadaloo, known for his Psycho Power.

The latest manga features La+ Darknesss deciding to create some merchandise. While she initially considers creating a plush toy, Blanka points out that it may be best to start with stickers and clear files.

She decides to follow his advice based on the success Blanka had with the “Blanka-chan” doll that first appeared in Street Fighter V.
The “Street Fighter 6” x “hololive” collaboration manga has been released daily since July 23rd, building anticipation for the full collaboration campaign.
