Mortal Shell II Open Beta Now Live for PC
Publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry officially announced on June 5, 2026, that an open beta for Mortal Shell II is now available for PC players via Steam.
This sequel to the Soulslike action RPG allows participants to experience the opening prologue of the main game along with an initial portion of the title’s open world environment.
Players assume the role of the Harbinger to claim their first shells, discover various disciples, and work toward recovering the lost Ova for the Mether.
The open beta experience includes a variety of challenges such as exploring dungeons, battling mini-bosses, and facing off against a formidable major enemy.
Accompanying the beta launch, a new trailer was released as part of the Summer Game Fest 2026 festivities to showcase the dark fantasy gameplay.
Mortal Shell II is currently scheduled for a full release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
