Makoto Niijima joins Persona 5: The Phantom X as version 1.3 update goes live

Sega has released the Version 1.3 update for its popular mobile and PC title, Persona 5: The Phantom X.
This new update introduces the second half of the game’s original crossover event with the mainline title, Persona 5, and adds the fan-favorite character Makoto Niijima to the roster.
The second part of the Persona 5 collaboration event sees the arrival of the Phantom Thief known as Queen.

Players will be able to challenge a new Palace and take on missions alongside the “Phantom Thieves of Heart” in a completely original story.
By clearing event stages, players can earn “Destiny Badges,” which can be exchanged for valuable items like “Gold Tickets” for use in the game’s gacha system.
The highlight of the new update is the addition of a new, 5-star Phantom Thief: Makoto Niijima, also known by her codename, Queen.

Makoto is a powerful, single-target attacker who uses a unique “Patience” mechanic.
By building up a certain number of “Patience” stacks with her skills, she can enter a “Fed Up” state, which greatly increases her attack and defense and allows her to use a powerful multi-hit evolution skill, “Explosive Wrath.”
She is designed to synergize well with teammates who can inflict status ailments on enemies.

To celebrate the Version 1.3 update, several in-game login bonuses and gifts are also being distributed.
Players who log in for seven days during the event period will receive seven “Platinum Millicoins” for use in the weapon supply.
In addition, a total of 600 “Cognition Crystals,” the game’s premium currency, are being given to all players to commemorate both the update and a recent official broadcast.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play RPG set in the Persona 5 universe, featuring a new cast of characters and an original story.
The game is available on iOS/Android/Google Play Games and Steam.
