Limited edition Dragon Quest drinks bottles set to appear in Japan

Suntory has officially announced a new partnership with Square Enix to release a line of limited-edition beverage bottles in Japan.
This collaboration commemorates the upcoming launch of Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, the latest entry in the legendary role-playing game franchise.

Scheduled for release on February 5, 2026, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a full remake of the 2000 classic Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
The game revitalizes the original adventure with a new art style, reimagining the scenario, battles, and systems for a modern audience.

To celebrate this release, Suntory will transform ten of its popular drink products into special “Monster Bottles.”
The collaboration covers four major brands: “C.C. Lemon,” “Dekavita C God Charge,” “POP Melon Soda,” and the “Natchan” fruit juice series.

Each bottle features unique artwork that playfully integrates the beverage’s identity with the world of Dragon Quest.
For example, the “C.C. Lemon” design depicts eight Slimes stacking together to form a King Slime, referencing the game’s monster mechanics.

The “Natchan Apple” design creatively alters the “Slime Knight” monster, replacing the slime portion with a red apple to match the flavor profile.
In a special touch for fans, the brand logos on the labels have been redesigned to mimic the typography and style of the official Dragon Quest logo.

In conjunction with the retail release, Suntory is launching a promotional campaign offering exclusive merchandise.
Consumers who purchase eligible products can enter a lottery to win one of 250 “Monster Original Carbonated Bottles.”

These reusable flasks are designed to carry carbonated beverages and feature five different monster designs.
The campaign applies to Suntory carbonated and fruit beverages in PET bottles ranging from 340ml to 600ml.

The “Monster Bottles” are scheduled to hit shelves in limited quantities starting in mid-February 2026.
The lottery campaign will run from Monday, February 16, 2026, until Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
