Light Yagami and L figures are the top prizes of a new Death Note Ichiban Kuji

A new “Ichiban Kuji” lottery from Bandai Spirits has been announced, this time based on the iconic dark fantasy series, Death Note.
“Ichiban Kuji” is a “no-lose” prize lottery system where every ticket purchased wins an item from a tiered lineup of exclusive merchandise.

Death Note, originally a manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, is a globally popular psychological thriller that follows the high school student Light Yagami, who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing their name inside.

The top-tier prizes for this new lottery have been revealed, featuring figures of the series’ two main rival characters that are designed to capture the detailed artwork of the original manga.
The prize lineup revealed so far is as follows:
- Prize A: Light Yagami Figure

This figure of the protagonist, Light Yagami, is based on the iconic artwork from the cover of the first volume of the manga.
- Prize B: L Figure

A figure of the enigmatic master detective, L, which is based on the artwork from the cover of the manga’s second volume.
- Prize C: Acrylic Boards

A collection of four different, selectable B5-sized acrylic art boards featuring original artwork from the manga.
The lower-tier prizes, from D to I, as well as the coveted “Last One Prize” and the “Double Chance Campaign,” have not yet been revealed, with more information to be announced at a later date.
“Ichiban Kuji DEATH NOTE” is scheduled to be released on Saturday, the 29th of November and the price for one lottery ticket will be ¥790.
