Pre-orders launch for life-size bust of Evangelion's Unit 01

High-end collectible figure manufacturer Prime 1 Studio has revealed a huge new Evangelion statue that will set fans back over 500,000 yen.

They will be releasing an awe-inspiring “life-size” bust of the iconic Evangelion Unit-01, as depicted in the final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time”, under their “PRIME1STATUE” brand.

While the bust is advertised as being “life-size”, it is not actually a 1/1 scale model and stands 86cm (nearly 3 ft) tall.

Despite not living up the the “life-size” moniker, this is still a substantial size given that many less detailed scale figures struggle to hit 60cm (2ft) in height.
