Kingdom Hearts fans given second chance at Sora and Roxas statues with re-release of Ichiban Kuji prize lottery

BANDAI SPIRITS has re-released the “Ichiban Kuji KINGDOM HEARTS -Linking Hearts-” lottery.
This “no-lose” lottery, a popular Japanese style of lottery where every ticket guarantees a prize, offers fans another chance to acquire high-quality collectibles from the Kingdom Hearts series.
This Ichiban Kuji lottery was originally released in May 2024 and almost exactly a year later, fans are now getting a second chance at winning its prizes.

The Kingdom Hearts series is a unique and hugely successful action RPG franchise, born from a creative collaboration between Square Enix (known for Final Fantasy) and Disney.
Since its debut in 2002, the series has captivated millions of players worldwide with its intricate, emotional storylines that blend original characters and lore with iconic Disney and Pixar worlds and characters.

The core narrative follows Sora, a young Keyblade wielder, as he battles the Heartless and other forces of darkness to save parallel universes and reunite with his friends.

The re-release of this particular Ichiban Kuji is in part due to its immense popularity when it first launched, as well as the enduring appeal of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Its re-appearance in stores comes during a period where Square Enix has had to release new images of Kingdom Hearts 4 to reassure fans following the cancellation of another game in the series.

Square Enix has also recently announced the re-release of a range of their own Kingdom Hearts merchandise as well as the launch of a new Kingdom Hearts trading card collection.
The “Ichiban Kuji KINGDOM HEARTS -Linking Hearts-” lottery will be available at participating Seven-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, Yume Town stores as well as other select retailers across Japan, with each ticket priced at 790 yen (tax included).
