Square Enix reveals first look at new Kingdom Hearts trading card collection

Square Enix has announced the upcoming release of a new set of trading cards based on the Kingdom Hearts series.
The “Kingdom Hearts” series is known for its intricate storyline, blending characters and worlds from Disney and Pixar with original Square Enix creations.

The games follow the adventures of Sora, a Keyblade wielder, as he battles the forces of darkness and explores vast, fantastical realms alongside his loyal companions, Donald Duck and Goofy.
The new “Art Museum” trading card collection promises a comprehensive look at fan favorite characters from the series so far.

Each pack will be priced at ¥550 (tax included), inviting collectors to gather a wide array of cards featuring iconic characters from across the “Kingdom Hearts” saga.
The collection will encompass a grand total of 228 different types of cards, ensuring plenty of variety for collectors. Among these, fans can look forward to finding:
- Normal cards: Showcasing various characters and scenes.
- Heart Rare cards: Likely featuring unique designs or enhanced rarity.
- Premium cards: Suggesting special finishes or highly sought-after designs.
The card lineup will prominently feature fan-favorite characters such as the heroic trio Sora, Riku, and Kairi, along with their steadfast companions Donald and Goofy.



Additionally, the collection will delve into the darker side of the series, including various members of Organization XIII, offering a comprehensive representation of the “Kingdom Hearts” universe.


Collectors will have the opportunity to chase after all 228 types, building a visual encyclopedia of the series’ history.


The “Kingdom Hearts / Art Museum” trading cards are now available to pre-order directly from Square Enix and are set to be released on August 30th, 2025.
Square Enix also recently announced the re-release of a previously sold out range of Kingdom Hearts merchandise, with popular items that include a Shadow mug and a range of Disney plushies now available to pre-order again.
