Square Enix to re-release sold out Kingdom Hearts merch including Shadow mug and Disney plushies
Square Enix has announced that pre-orders for a selection of highly sought-after merchandise from the “Kingdom Hearts” series are now open once again.
Fans eager to add to their collection can now secure a mug shaped like the iconic Shadow creature and a variety of “Kingdom Hearts” plush toys featuring Disney characters as they appear in the games.
The “Kingdom Hearts” series is celebrated for its unique blend of Disney characters and Square Enix’s trademark gameplay.
The series follows the adventures of Sora, a Keyblade master, as he journeys through various Disney inspired worlds to protect them from the Heartless and other forces of darkness.
The series latest mainline installment, “Kingdom Hearts 4” is currently in active development and recently saw new images released following the cancellation of the spin-off Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link mobile game.
Among the items due to be re-released is the “Kingdom Hearts Face Mug <Shadow>” which will be priced at 3,850 yen (tax included).
This ceramic mug features the distinctive face of the “Shadow” creature, one of the most recognizable and ubiquitous enemies, or “Heartless”, in the Kingdom Hearts universe.
The back of the mug proudly displays the iconic Heartless emblem.
Accompanying the mug is a wide range of plush toys. These include an eerie yet endearing version of Shadow, the heroes Sora and Roxas and Disney characters including Micky Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip and Dale and more.

- Kingdom Hearts Series Plush Toy <KH III Chip & Dale> – Price: 5,940 yen
- Kingdom Hearts Shadow Plush Toy – Price: 3,520 yen
Each plush toy is designed to be both cute and accurate to their in-game appearance, making them perfect for display or cuddling.
The Square Enix e-STORE are advising that pre-orders for the “Kingdom Hearts Face Mug <Shadow>” are expected to ship on or around August 30th.
The various “Kingdom Hearts Series Plush Toys” will follow later in the year, with shipping expected to occur by November 29th, 2025.
