Kappa and Naruto Team Up to Launch Retro Soccer Jersey Collab Collection

As anticipation grows for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, soccer enthusiasm is once again reaching fans across the globe.
Taking advantage of that momentum, Italian athletic apparel brand Kappa has partnered with French footwear and clothing retailer Courir on a new collection inspired by the immensely popular Naruto series.

The collaboration introduces a range of soccer jerseys that combine anime-inspired visuals with classic soccer styling, with promotional materials even showing Naruto characters wearing the apparel.

Instead of simply featuring character artwork, the collection reimagines Kappa’s traditional soccer jersey designs using themes drawn from Naruto’s characters, clans, and iconic techniques.

Each jersey is styled as if it belongs to its own fictional soccer team, creating distinctive kits based on different elements of the Naruto universe.

The designs also borrow heavily from memorable European soccer uniforms from the late 1990s and early 2000s, offering recognizable references for soccer fans while incorporating details that Naruto enthusiasts will appreciate.

Among the collection is a Naruto Uzumaki-themed jersey that uses his trademark orange color palette and includes a custom crest inspired by Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within him.

This design is based on FC Barcelona’s 1997-98 away jersey and is priced at €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).

The Rasengan jersey turns Naruto’s signature chakra technique into the focal point of the design, featuring blue-and-white colors and “RASENGAN” displayed across the front in the style of a team sponsor logo.

Its appearance is inspired by AJ Auxerre’s 2003-04 season uniform and is also available for €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).

Another jersey centers on Kurama, using black and yellow colors while displaying “KYUBI” across the chest and incorporating a star-adorned crest reminiscent of an elite soccer club badge.

This design takes inspiration from Juventus’ 1995-96 away kit and is priced at €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).

The Fourth Hokage jersey draws from Minato Namikaze, featuring cream and burgundy tones along with flame-inspired accents around the sleeves and hem that mirror his famous cloak.

A soccer-style crest incorporating the Hokage symbol completes the look, with the jersey selling for €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).

For those who prefer a darker visual style, the Itachi jersey features black-and-red vertical stripes, Sharingan-inspired graphics, and a retro soccer uniform aesthetic.

Its crest incorporates the Akatsuki’s recognizable red cloud emblem, connecting the design to Itachi Uchiha and the notorious organization.

The jersey is modeled after AC Milan’s 2000-02 uniform and is available for €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).
The Sasuke Uchiha jersey takes a more minimalist approach with a gray-and-white color scheme.

The front displays Sasuke’s name in katakana alongside Sharingan imagery, while the crest showcases the Uchiha clan’s fan emblem.

Its design is influenced by Paris Saint-Germain’s 1999-00 away kit and is priced at €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).
Rounding out the collection is a Gaara-inspired jersey featuring a sand-colored base with black and red accents that reflect his ties to the Hidden Sand Village.

His name is prominently displayed across the front, reinforcing the character-inspired theme.

This jersey pays tribute to Arsenal’s 2001-02 away uniform and is also available for €70 (approx. $81 USD/ £60 GBP).
