K-Pop sensations SEVENTEEN team up with Sanrio for new Don Quijote collaboration

A major new collaboration has been announced between the globally popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN, the iconic character company Sanrio, and the major Japanese retailer Don Quijote.

The project will feature a line of original merchandise based on new, specially created illustrations.

SEVENTEEN is a thirteen-member group under Pledis Entertainment that has grown into an international phenomenon, known for its self-produced music and intricate choreography.

Sanrio is a Japanese company famous for creating a vast universe of characters, including the world-renowned Hello Kitty.

The collaboration’s core concept involves pairing each of the thirteen members of SEVENTEEN with a specific Sanrio character, creating a unique combined identity for the new merchandise.

Don Quijote, a massive discount and variety store chain with a major presence across Japan, will be the exclusive retailer for the new product line.

The store is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, known for its dense and eclectic product selection and frequent pop culture collaborations.

Don Quijote regularly collaborate with anime and musical acts to release merchandise, with one of their recent collabs taking place with Hatsune Miku/Piapro Characters.

The official character pairings for the SEVENTEEN and Sanrio collaboration have been revealed, with each of the group’s members being paired with a different character based on their personality type.
