Japan’s cat-eared robot waiters are being turned into a super cute model kit

Kotobukiya has announced a new plastic model kit of the “BellaBot Pro,” a cat-themed autonomous delivery robot.
The BellaBot is a real-world service robot developed by the company Pudu Robotics, which has become a common sight in restaurants, cafes, and other service industry locations around the world.

The robot is known for its friendly, cat-like digital face and its ability to navigate environments to deliver food and other items to customers.

This new model kit allows fans of the charming robot to build their own miniature, non-functional version.

The kit, which is a snap-fit plastic model that does not require glue for assembly, is a recreation of the next-generation “BellaBot Pro” model.

A high degree of customization is offered through the included decals and stickers.

The kit comes with three blank face parts and a sticker sheet with ten different facial expressions to choose from, nine of which are new designs for the “Pro” version.

The large display screen on the front of the robot’s body can also be customized with either a standard start-up screen sticker or a cute, full-body cat pattern sticker.

A separate decal sheet is included to replicate the official “Pudu Robotics” company logo and other markings on the robot’s body.

The model kit will be available in two different color variations, a black version and a white version.

Each of the “BellaBot Pro” model kits is priced at ¥1,980 and they are scheduled to be released in December 2025.

Pre-orders can now be placed for both versions via the Kotobukiya online store.
