Japanese maid cafe chain “Maidreamin” announces first South Korean store

“Maidreamin,” the popular concept maid cafe with 18 locations across Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, and Thailand, is celebrating its 17th anniversary in 2025 with a significant milestone: its first-ever expansion into South Korea.
The new “Maidreamin Korea Hongdae Store” will be situated in the vibrant Hongdae area of Seoul, a renowned hub for youth culture and entertainment.
This will be the second international location that the “Maidreamin” group has expanded to, following previous successful expansion in Thailand.

Under the banner of “‘maidreamin’: A Place Where Everyone Can Be Enthralled,” the new Hongdae location aims to introduce the unique experience of a Japanese maid cafe and its associated pop culture to South Korean customers.
“Maidreamin” intends to cater not only to the local Korean audience but also to visitors from around the globe, promising its signature exceptional hospitality and a brand-new “dreamland” narrative.

The new “Maidreamin Korea Hongdae Store” will open in July 2025, with a specific date and opening hours expected to be announced shortly.
In the meantime, the new store’s staff are preparing to meet the expectations of a new range of fans in South Korea.
