I Got A Cheat Skill In Another World Anime Shares Ending Song Performance Video from Novel Author

Author Miku has released a special performance video singing Hachimitsu as part of the ongoing fifth anniversary celebrations for the I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too light novel series.
The video, which features the original author performing the ending theme of the television anime adaptation, was shared through Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel.

Miku, who is a graduate of the Voice Actor Course at the Osaka University of Arts, expressed initial surprise at the proposal but participated to help promote the franchise.
The light novel series first launched under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint in December 2018 and has since grown to include various spin-offs and manga adaptations.

Cumulative circulation for the franchise has reached 45 million copies as of March 2026.
The anniversary project previously featured two voice drama videos including a Christmas Edition in December 2024 and a New Year’s Edition in January 2025.

Following the release of digital LINE stamps in August 2025, the project is entering its final phase with a large-scale artwork by illustrator Rein Kuwashima.
Fans can also look forward to a new TV anime special based on the fifth volume of the light novel which is scheduled to premiere in Japan on March 30, 2026.

The original 13-episode anime series aired from April 2023 to June 2023 and remains available for international viewers via Crunchyroll.
The story follows Yuuya, a boy who discovers a door to a magical world that allows him to gain powerful skills and transform his life on Earth.
