Horror FPS Alien Deathstorm Announced for PS5, Xbox, and PC

Rebellion Developments has officially announced Alien Deathstorm, a new first-person action horror title scheduled for release in 2027.

The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC through both Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Subscribers to the Game Pass service will also be able to access the title on its launch date in 2027.

Players assume the role of a Combat Engineer, a specialized first responder sent to a silent off-world colony to investigate a total loss of communication.

The narrative follows this protagonist as they arrive ahead of a rescue fleet to find a settlement devastated by a cataclysmic storm and hostile alien creatures.

What begins as a standard rescue operation quickly transitions into a desperate struggle for survival against unknown extraterrestrial horrors and apocalyptic environmental conditions.

The announcement was accompanied by a trailer and a series of screenshots showcasing the visceral gameplay and the atmospheric destruction of the colony.

Rebellion Developments, the studio behind the project, shared these details during the Xbox Partner Preview held on March 26, 2026.
