Resident Evil Requiem Photo Mode Update Available Now

Capcom has officially released a free update for Resident Evil Requiem on March 26, 2026, introducing a highly requested Photo Mode to the survival horror title.
The new Photo Mode can be accessed directly through the pause menu, allowing players to capture and customize their encounters within the game.

The announcement of the update also included the release of a new set of screenshots showcasing the new mode.

In addition to the new feature, the patch includes various bug fixes and localization updates to improve the overall player experience.

The development team has corrected typographical errors across multiple languages and adjusted character expressions in certain cutscenes to better convey the intended emotions.

General gameplay improvements were implemented to address issues that previously caused progress to be impossible under specific conditions.

For players on PC, the update specifically targets visual bugs associated with certain GPU drivers and resolves a bug that led to infrequent game crashes.

Resident Evil Requiem is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.

PC users can purchase the title through both the Steam and Epic Games Store platforms.

The series continues to be a flagship franchise for Capcom, with this latest installment maintaining its presence across all major modern gaming platforms.
