Hatsune Miku Announces Her First-Ever Fishing Gear Collab Collection

The world-famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku and Japanese outdoor brand DRESS have revealed a brand new collaboration.
The “Hatsune Miku x DRESS” fishing gear collection marks the Vocaloid’s first official foray into functional angling equipment.

Created by Crypton Future Media, Hatsune Miku originated as a voice synthesizer before quickly evolving into a massive global pop culture icon.
The digital pop star has performed at countless live 3D concerts around the world, capturing the hearts of millions of fans with her energetic music and signature teal twin-tails.

DRESS, established in 2007, is highly regarded for creating practical yet stylish fishing accessories.
The company has previously partnered with major franchises like “Evangelion” and “ONE PIECE”.

For this latest crossover, the brand commissioned a brand new visual illustration from artist Scotty, featuring Miku dressed in sporty fishing attire:

The impressive 12-piece lineup is built to withstand actual fishing conditions, combining long-standing technical expertise with the character’s colorful aesthetic.
Two of the most prominent releases in the wave are the glowing reel and fishing rod, both designed to illuminate in Miku’s signature teal color.

The reel lights up automatically when the handle is turned, making it visually striking and practical for night fishing or low-light conditions.
The glowing rod is a highly versatile piece of equipment suitable for a wide variety of fishing styles, including lure fishing and casting.
