Hajime Katoki’s G.F.F.M.C. Unicorn Gundam returns as Tamashii Store exclusive with updated paintwork
A new, high-end figure of the main mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam UC is being released as a Tamashii Nations Store exclusive.
The new “GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Unicorn Gundam -STORE LIMITED EDITION-” is part of the G.F.F.M.C. brand, a high-end, pre-painted figure label known for its heavy use of die-cast metal and intricate detail, all personally produced by legendary designer Hajime Katoki.
This “Store Limited Edition” is a renewal of the original G.F.F.M.C. Unicorn Gundam, which was first released in 2010.
While it retains the original’s complex transformation mechanism from Unicorn Mode to Destroy Mode, it features a completely updated paint application and texture.
The new version boasts a “deeper” white finish for the armor and a “clearer” paint application for the psycho-frame, giving it a more premium look than the original release.
The figure stands approximately 20 centimeters tall and is made from ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal.
It comes with a full set of accessories, including the Beam Magnum (with extra energy packs), Hyper Bazooka, Shield, beam saber parts, interchangeable hands, and a dedicated display stand.
This new Unicorn Gundam is one of several major reveals from Bandai’s high-end collector lines.
It joins other newly-announced figures, like the “METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos” from Iron-Blooded Orphans and the “G.F.F.M.C. Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom” from Gundam Wing, which are being highlighted for the Tamashii Nation 2025 event.
The “GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Unicorn Gundam -STORE LIMITED EDITION-” is priced at 27,500 yen (approx. $178.63 USD / £135.87 GBP).
It is a store-exclusive item and is scheduled to be released on November 14, 2025, at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE and TAMASHII SPOT locations.
