Arc System Works has officially announced that the version 2.00 update for the fighting game Guilty Gear: Strive is scheduled to launch on April 9, 2026.
The significant update arrives alongside the debut of Jam Kuradoberi as a playable Season 5 downloadable content character.

The developer confirmed that Robo=Ky will join the roster as the next additional character during the summer of 2026.
Future content plans include an unannounced character arriving in the winter of 2026 and a final character slated for release in the spring of 2027.

Players can also expect new special moves and a fresh play reward system known as Haunted.

Additional customization options arriving with the patch include new accessories, outfits, and short stories to expand the game’s lore.
A seasonal reward system called the Blazing Pass is scheduled to become available to the community in May 2026.
