Good Smile Company Reveals New Nendoroid of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE’s Kurogane
Good Smile Company has begun pre-orders for a brand new Nendoroid figure of the powerful ninja Kurogane from the classic series “Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE”.
Created by the legendary artist group CLAMP, the story follows a group of travelers as they journey through diverse dimensions to recover the lost memories of Princess Sakura.
The emotional quest revolves around finding feathers that represent fragments of Sakura’s soul, which have scattered across various worlds in time and space.
Kurogane is a rough and incredibly skilled warrior from Nihon Country who is exiled by Princess Tomoyo to learn the true meaning of strength and compassion.
Despite his gruff and often aggressive exterior, he eventually becomes a protective and loyal companion to the younger travelers Syaoran and Sakura.
This newly revealed release perfectly translates the fierce warrior’s design into a highly poseable, palm-sized format.
The popular Nendoroid line is famous for shrinking iconic characters down into cute chibi proportions while retaining all of their recognizable details.
Standing at approximately 10cm tall, this non-scale collectible offers fans a fantastic and highly customizable display piece.
The design team has carefully recreated his traditional black and red outfit, complete with his signature high ponytail and intense gaze.
The sculpt captures the layered textures of his armor and the specific flow of his hair, ensuring the figure looks impressive from any angle.
Fans can easily swap between three included face plates to change his mood on the fly.
These interchangeable face options include a smug “Confident” face, a focused “Serious” face, and a comical “Angry” face often seen when he is annoyed by his fellow travelers.
Kurogane comes with several essential accessories, including his massive and legendary katana “Ginryu” and his long, flowing black cloak.
His sword can be displayed either sheathed or drawn, allowing for a variety of battle-ready poses that reflect his status as a master swordsman.
A standard dedicated display base is also included in every box to keep the figure securely positioned.
Pre-orders are currently open and will remain available until Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
The Nendoroid Kurogane is priced at 8,500 yen (approx. $55 USD / £44 GBP) and is scheduled to begin shipping in November 2026.
