Pokémon Officially Returns to Galar This October for New 30th Anniversary Merch Collection
The Pokémon Center is officially returning to Galar for a new wave of 30th anniversary merchandise that puts the focus firmly on the fan-favorite region introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The new range forms part of the “Pokémon Timeless Adventure” series, which has been revisiting different generations of Pokémon throughout 2026 with original artwork built around a changing selection of anniversary themes.
The series began with a Kanto collection centered on the idea of new beginnings, before travelling through Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos.
Its most recent collection focused on Alola, with a theme based around sleeping and artwork depicting Rowlet, Litten and Popplio relaxing together on Mantine.
Galar introduces the new theme of “connecting”, with commemorative artwork showing Pikachu, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble enjoying Pokémon Camp together while their adventures are captured using a Rotom Phone.
Pokémon Camp was introduced as part of Pokémon Sword and Shield, allowing players to spend time with their party outside of battles, play with their Pokémon and cook different varieties of curry while travelling across the Galar region.
The new artwork builds on that idea by presenting the camp as a shared memory, with the Rotom Phone used to capture the group before those moments are shared with others to maintain the collection’s theme of staying connected.

• “Pokémon Timeless Adventure Galar – Roll Cookies” – ¥1,760 (approximately $11 / £8)
The centerpiece of the collection is the the “Galar Gym Badge Collection”, priced at ¥26,400 (approximately $168 / £127), which recreates the Gym Badges from Pokémon Sword and Shield with a puzzle-like design that allows them to be connected together to form one large badge, reflecting the wider “connecting” theme of the Galar artwork.
Pokémon has been using the wider 30th anniversary celebrations to revisit the history of its games in several different ways, including a separate Pokémon Center “Game Package” collection that transformed box artwork from generations spanning the Game Boy through Nintendo Switch into apparel and other merchandise.
The new “Pokémon Timeless Adventure Galar” merchandise will launch through Pokémon Center Online in Japan at 10:00 AM JST on October 1, 2026, before arriving at physical Pokémon Center stores on October 3.
The “Gym Badge Collection Galar” will also launch through Pokémon Center Online on October 1, but unlike the rest of the range it will not be available through physical Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store locations at launch.
No wider international release has been confirmed as yet, however other similar ranges have eventually made their way to the official Pokémon Center online stores in other regions outside Japan.
