Golden Kamuy Final Season Ending Theme Official Music Video Makes Streaming Debut

NBC Universal’s official anime music YouTube channel began streaming a special music video for The Ballad on March 25, 2026.
The track serves as the ending theme song for the Golden Kamuy Final Season TV anime and is performed by the four-member Japanese rock band Ken Yokoyama.

The music video features key animation shots from the battle at Hill 203, a significant event depicted at the start of the first season of the series.
Ken Yokoyama, the band’s frontman and former member of Hi-STANDARD, originally launched his solo career with the album The Cost Of My Freedom in February 2004 before forming his current four-piece ensemble.

The CD single for The Ballad marks the first time the band has produced a tie-in song for an anime series.
Upon its release on March 25, 2026, the single achieved immediate commercial success by ranking at number nine on the Oricon daily single charts.

Based on the original manga by Satoru Noda, Golden Kamuy follows a post-war soldier named Sugimoto in Meiji Era Hokkaido as he hunts for a hidden treasure.
The upcoming final season is set to adapt the Runaway Train Arc and is scheduled to premiere in the winter of 2026.

Production details for the final season of Golden Kamuy confirm that Shizutaka Sugahara is serving as chief director at studio Brain’s Base.
The creative team also includes Noboru Takagi for series composition, Takumi Yamakawa for character designs, and Kenichiro Suehiro as the composer.
