Warframe Launches on Nintendo Switch 2

Digital Extremes has officially launched the free-to-play online action game Warframe on the Nintendo Switch 2.
The new version of the story-driven title aims for a target resolution of 1080p and a smooth frame rate of 60 frames per second.
Players on the hardware can expect a variety of technical improvements, including DLSS support, volumetric lighting, and higher resolution textures.
Additional graphical enhancements, such as sun shadows and improved decals, are available when the console is in docked mode.
The developer has integrated faster loading times and improved audio quality to take advantage of the upgraded system specifications.
The Switch 2 version also includes unique input options with support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
To celebrate the release, users who log into the game between March 25, 2026, and April 15, 2026, will receive the Ambimanus Pack for free.
This promotional bundle contains the Vericres Warfan, the Akomeogi Warfan Skin, a Slicing Feathers Mod, and a collection of boosters and sigils.
