Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered Confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC

Atari and developer Pipeworks have officially announced Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, a complete Unreal Engine 5 remake of the classic kaiju arena brawler.

The upcoming title is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Standard digital editions will be priced at $29.99, while physical copies for the PlayStation 5 are confirmed and the Switch 2 version will retail for $39.99..

Originally released in 2002, this updated version brings back the intense monster combat with entirely remastered visuals and several quality of life improvements.

Players can choose from a roster of 12 iconic Kaiju to battle across eight different locations, including real world cities, Monster Island, and an alien Mothership.

Each arena features day and night variations and interactive environments that allow monsters to weaponize buildings and skyscrapers against their opponents.

The remaster includes a revamped unlock system that lets players access monsters, locations, and gallery items in any order they prefer.

New features for this release include online multiplayer functionality alongside the traditional local cooperative play and individual single player campaigns for every creature.

This partnership marks a reunion for Atari and Pipeworks, who served as the original publisher and developer for the 2002 fighting game.

Pre-orders for the title are currently available following the reveal on June 6, 2026.
