Find out how to get tickets for Crunchyroll's Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie advance screenings

An exclusive, early screening event has been announced for the new film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc Part 1: Akaza’s Return.

The announcement was made on Thursday, the 14th of August, by the anime streaming service Crunchyroll and the ticketing company Fandango.

This special event will give eligible Crunchyroll subscribers in the US a chance to see the highly anticipated film three days before its general release.

The limited screenings will be held at over 250 participating theaters across the United States.

The general theatrical release of the film in the United States and Canada will follow just a few days later, however fans lucky enough to secure tickets for the advance screenings will get to see the film before anyone else.

The movie will be available in both its original Japanese with English subtitles and with a full English dub, with screenings also planned for IMAX and other premium large-screen formats.

The English dub features the return of the main voice cast, including Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado, and also includes a high-profile new addition, with actor Channing Tatum also set to provide his vocal talents.

The announcement comes as the film continues its historic run at the Japanese box office.

In its first 25 days, the movie has earned over 22 billion yen, or approximately $148.7 million USD, making it the #6 highest-grossing film of all time in Japan.

To be eligible for the advance screening, viewers must be subscribers to either the “Mega Fan” or “Ultimate Fan” tiers of the Crunchyroll service and be based in the United States.

The subscriber-exclusive early screenings are scheduled for Tuesday, the 9th of September, at 7:00 PM local time.

Tickets for this special event will go on sale on Friday, the 15th of August, at 6:00 AM Pacific Time via the Fandango Rewards website.

Eligible fans will be able to purchase tickets after verifying their Crunchyroll subscriber status with Fandango.

The full list of participating cinemas is now available to help fans choose where to see the advance screening.

The general North American release of the film is scheduled for Friday, the 12th of September.

Fans will be eagerly awaiting the details of what merchandise will accompany the film’s release, after the premiere in Japan saw cinemas offer an exclusive popcorn bucket.
