Cast your vote as Gundam fan poll enters final round to decide which Gunpla kits will be re-released
Bandai Spirits has officially launched the final round of voting for the”MG Runoff Vote 2025″ project.
This initiative allows Gunpla (Gundam plastic model) fans to directly influence which previously released Master Grade (MG) kits will be reissued.
The Master Grade (MG) series kits are celebrated for their exceptional detail, intricate internal frames, advanced articulation, and many kits often include working hydraulics or light-up gimmicks.
The MG line strikes a balance between complexity and buildability, making the kits a favorite among experienced modelers.
The “MG Runoff Vote 2025” project, now in its final phase, is a direct response to the community’s desire for certain discontinued or hard-to-find kits to be made available again.
Bandai Spirits emphasizes that this project is “deciding which items will be resold based on the voices of fans who want to build them,” highlighting a customer-centric approach to their product management.
The winning kit from the final vote will be reissued, along with several other items from the top-ranked choices, ensuring that multiple popular choices will receive a rerun.
The lineup for the final round consists of 20 highly sought-after MG kits, spanning various generations and timelines of the expansive Gundam universe.
Among the notable contenders that have made it to the final round are:
- “MG 1/100 Perfect Gundam”
Originating from the “Plamo Kyoshiro” manga, the Perfect Gundam is a heavily armored and armed variant of the RX-78-2 Gundam.
- “MG 1/100 PMX-003 The O”
A formidable and massive mobile suit from “Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam,” piloted by the antagonist Paptimus Scirocco.
- “MG 1/100 Ex-S Gundam/S Gundam”
Featured in “Gundam Sentinel,” a novel and photo-story series, the kit allows builders to construct either the base S Gundam or its enhanced Ex-S Gundam form.
- “MGEX 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam”
This kit of the iconic mobile suit from “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny” is part of the “Master Grade Extreme (MGEX)” line.

The final voting period commenced at 12:00 PM JST on July 23rd, 2025, and will conclude at 11:59 PM JST on July 31st, 2025.
Fans can cast their votes daily on the dedicated special page of the “Bandai Hobby Site” and on “Builder’s Note,” the official Gunpla fan community platform.
Each platform allows for one vote per day, allowing dedicated fans to cast a maximum of two votes daily to support their most desired kits.
The outcome of this final vote is eagerly awaited by the Gunpla community, as it will directly impact the availability of some of the most desired kits, allowing both veteran collectors and new enthusiasts to acquire models they may have previously missed.
