Fender’s real-life Rathalos Telecaster is being added to Monster Hunter Wilds as a gesture
A new, special collaboration has been announced for the hit game “Monster Hunter Wilds,” which will be a crossover with the legendary American guitar brand “Fender”.
The collaboration will be a new, limited-time in-game event quest that will allow players to earn an exclusive, special gesture.
This partnership is a follow-up to a previous real-world collaboration, where Fender created a highly sought-after, real-life “Fender Rathalos Telecaster” electric guitar.
Now, that real-world instrument is being brought back into the digital world of the game.
By completing the new event quest, “Roars Echoing in the Azure Skies,” players will be rewarded with a special gesture.
This gesture allows the player’s hunter to play the in-game version of the “Fender Rathalos Telecaster.”
A special feature of this gesture is that it will automatically play the series’ iconic main theme, “Proof of a Hero.”
The details for the new event quest are as follows:
- Quest Name: Roars Echoing in the Azure Skies
- Difficulty: 5 Stars
- Objective: Hunt a Rathalos
- Hunter Rank Requirement: HR 16 or higher
In addition to the Fender collaboration, a previously postponed event quest will also be released on the same day.
The quest “My Favorite Food is Ore!!” will allow players to gather special materials to craft the “pickaxe” themed weapons.
This is a high-rank quest that requires players to hunt two “Tempered” Gravios.
Both of the new event quests are scheduled to go live in Monster Hunter Wilds tomorrow, Wednesday, the 27th of August, at 9:00 AM Japan Standard Time.
