Dragon Ball’s latest prize lottery will let you collect almost all of the series original cast

Bandai Spirits has revealed a new “Ichiban Kuji” lottery that focuses on the earliest adventures of Son Goku from the original Dragon Ball series.
“Ichiban Kuji” is a “no-lose” prize lottery system sold at convenience stores and hobby shops in Japan, where every ticket purchased wins an item from a tiered lineup of exclusive merchandise.

This new collection, titled “ASSEMBLE COLLECTION ~Son Goku Childhood Arc~,” features an extensive lineup of small figures designed to be collected and displayed together.

The main prizes are part of the new “ASSEMBLE” figure line, which are small, upward-gazing figures that can be arranged to create a large “group photo” style diorama.

The lottery allows fans to collect nearly the entire cast from the original Dragon Ball saga.

The full prize lineup for the lottery is as follows:
- Prize A: Son Goku, Fortuneteller Baba & Grandpa Gohan ASSEMBLE Figures

4 types (1 provided at random), with Goku having a random variant.

- Prize B: Master Roshi, Turtle & Ox-King ASSEMBLE Figures

4 types (1 provided at random), with Roshi having a random variant.

- Prize C: Bulma, Chi-Chi & Launch ASSEMBLE Figures

- Prize G: Korin, Yajirobe & Upa ASSEMBLE Figures

10 types that spell out “DRAGON BALL” when combined.

- Last One Prize: THE GIGANT NAME Dragon Ball
The “Last One Prize” is a special item awarded to the person who purchases the final ticket from a lottery set.

For this collection, the prize is a massive, 43-centimeter-long statue from the new “THE GIGANT NAME” brand, which meticulously recreates the original Dragon Ball anime’s title logo in 3D.
A “Double Chance Campaign” also gives ticket holders a second opportunity to win one of fifty more of the same logo statue through an online lottery.

The lottery will be available at participating Lawson convenience stores, bookstores, hobby shops, and official Ichiban Kuji shops.
The “Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball ASSEMBLE COLLECTION” is scheduled to begin its sequential rollout at stores next weekend, on Saturday, the 9th of August, 2025, and the price for one ticket will be ¥900.
