Pokémon Center’s 30th Anniversary Pikachu Plush Secures US Release
Two previously Japan-exclusive Pokémon 30th anniversary plushies of Pikachu are now available to fans in the US.
The official Pokémon Center US online store is now stocking the pair of Pokémon 30th anniversary plush toys, which are sparkly new renditions of series mascot Pikachu.
Pokémon originally launched in Japan back in 1996 with the release of the Red and Green versions for the Game Boy, introducing players to a world filled with 151 original creatures.
Over three decades, the series has grown into a multimedia giant spanning video games, trading cards, and animated television shows, creating countless memories for players of all ages across the globe.
Pikachu quickly became the face of the entire brand, starring as the main companion in the anime and leading the adventure in the classic games.
These commemorative soft toys were first released to fans in Japan in February 2026 and now, US fans have the opportunity to secure these special pieces for themselves.
The new plushies feature the iconic Electric-type mascot dapperly dressed to celebrate the momentous occasion and the fabric used is a high-quality velour treated with a delicate glitter finish, ensuring Pikachu shimmers from tip to tail as it catches the light.
Each plush also incorporates a celebratory birthday ribbon and sparkling eyes to symbolize the excitement of both past memories and future journeys.
