Dispatch Hits Xbox Series This Summer

AdHoc Studio has announced that its superhero workplace comedy adventure game Dispatch will arrive on Xbox Series consoles and PC via the Microsoft Store in the summer of 2026.

The title features full Play Anywhere support, allowing players to access the story across both Xbox and Microsoft Store platforms with a single purchase.

Dispatch originally debuted on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 22, 2025, before expanding to Nintendo Switch and its successor on January 29, 2026.

The project is led by former writers and directors from Telltale Games who worked on acclaimed narrative titles like Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us.

Set in a modern day version of Los Angeles, the story follows Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, who loses his suit in a fight against his primary nemesis.

Stripped of his hero status, Robertson is forced to take a job as a dispatcher tasked with managing a team of ex-supervillains undergoing rehabilitation.

Players must navigate complex office relationships and make critical decisions during emergency calls that influence the narrative and the hero roster’s allegiances.

The gameplay combines narrative choices with tactical strategy as users deploy heroes to various city emergencies based on their unique powers and personal baggage.

The game features a high profile voice cast including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, Matthew Mercer, and Jeffrey Wright.

Internet personalities such as MoistCr1TiKaL, Jacksepticeye, Joel Haver, and Alanah Pearce also provide voices for the various misfits found within the dispatch center.
