Devil May Cry Season 2 Receives New Teaser And Visuals

Netflix has officially released a teaser trailer for the second season of the Devil May Cry animated series via its dedicated anime YouTube channel.
The streaming platform confirmed that the new set of episodes will be available to viewers worldwide starting on May 12, 2026.

The announcement was accompanied by the debut of two key visuals shared on the franchise’s official X account, showcasing the central characters Dante and Vergil.
This upcoming release follows the first season of the series, produced by Adi Shankar and Studio Mir, which premiered on Netflix in April 2025 with an eight-episode run.

The narrative continues to follow Dante, an orphaned demon hunter, as he becomes entangled in a supernatural conflict involving forces attempting to bridge the human and demon realms.
The animated project is based on the Capcom video game franchise that originally launched on the PlayStation 2 console in 2001.
Hideki Kamiya, known for his work on titles such as Okami and Bayonetta, was the original creator and director of the game series.
This modern adaptation marks the second time the franchise has been turned into an anime, following a 2007 production by the animation studio Madhouse.
Fans can now view the first look trailer as part of the promotional buildup leading to the May 12, 2026, premiere date.
