Cyrene joins Honkai: Star Rail in Version 3.7 as Amphoreous Saga set to conclude

HoYoverse has announced that the next major update for its space fantasy RPG, Honkai: Star Rail, will be Version 3.7, “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday.”

This new update will be released on Wednesday, the 5th of November.

This patch will mark the climactic finale of the Amphoreous saga, which has seen the Astral Express crew inherit the Titan Coreflames and become bound to the planet’s destiny.

In this finale, the crew will stand with the Chrysos Heirs to confront their most powerful foe yet, “Irontomb,” in a final battle within the “Ruins of Time.”

As the final battle unfolds, the long-awaited character Cyrene will officially become a playable 5-star character.

Cyrene is a 5-star, Ice-Type character who follows the Path of Remembrance.

When she is on the team, she increases the damage dealt by all allies.

Her Skill deploys a “Zone” that causes any ally’s attack to trigger an additional instance of True DMG.

She gains “Recollection” stacks as her teammates take actions, and when full, she can activate her Ultimate.

When Cyrene uses her Ultimate for the first time, it will instantly activate the Ultimates of all other teammates and make her Zone permanent.

At this point, she also summons “memosprite Cyrene,” a special form that can buff allies or damage all enemies.

A new, large-scale permanent gameplay mode, “Currency Wars,” will also be making its debut.

In this mode, Trailblazers can form a team of up to ten characters, split between “on-field” and “off-field” areas.

Using characters of the same faction or combat type will trigger special “Bond” effects for the team.

All 61 characters participating in this mode will be available for a free trial.

A new limited-time event, “Snack Dash,” will also be on the way, featuring Madam Ruan Mei’s creations in an obstacle course race.

The update will also implement the “Trailblaze Fashion” system, which will add new cosmetic customization options for the player.

A limited-edition headwear item, the “Deliverer’s Wreath,” will be available for free after completing the version’s new main story missions.

Finally, a new animated short, “Hello, World,” and a new song, “Ripples of Past Reverie,” will be released to mark the “perfect conclusion to the Amphoreus saga.”
