Crocs reveal new Animal Crossing collaboration footwear and charms

The casual footwear company Crocs has announced a new partnership with Nintendo’s popular life-simulation game series, Animal Crossing.
This collaboration will bring the world of the game to the brand’s signature foam clogs.
Crocs has experienced renewed success in recent years, often leveraging collaborations with major pop culture franchises, such as Hello Kitty, Pokémon, and One Piece, to create sought-after products.

The centerpiece of this new line is the “Animal Crossing Platform Clog,” which translates the game’s gentle, pastoral aesthetic into footwear.
The clog’s design features a green base reminiscent of the grassy fields players cultivate in the game.

Its pivoting strap is colored to resemble a blue, cloud-filled sky, another key visual from the series.

A major component of the collaboration involves Crocs’ customizable “Jibbitz” charms, which are decorative pieces that can be attached to the ventilation holes of the clogs.
Each pair of the “Animal Crossing” clogs comes with a set of these removable charms included.

The included charms feature some of the most recognizable faces and items from the series.

These include the enterprising raccoon Tom Nook and the traveling musician dog, K.K. Slider.

Other charms represent core gameplay elements like the player’s customizable home and an apple tree, a common resource in the game.
In addition to the included decorations, Crocs will also offer two separate five-packs of Jibbitz charms for purchase.
These themed sets, titled the “Creator Pack” and the “Collector Pack,” will allow fans to further personalize their footwear with more characters and symbols from the game.

The platform clogs will be available in both adult and kids’ sizes, with prices listed at 11,000 yen (approx. $75.04 USD / £55.26 GBP) and 6,050 yen (approx. $41.27 USD / £30.39 GBP) respectively.
The design of the kids Crocs are largely the same as the adult Crocs, however, they do feature slightly different Jibbitz charms.

The two separately sold Jibbitz charm packs will each be priced at 2,420 yen (approx. $16.51 USD / £12.15 GBP).
The collection will be sold through the official Crocs Japan online store, at Crocs retail locations, and via various other authorized Crocs dealers.
This new Animal Crossing collaboration is scheduled to be released on August 27th, 2025, in Japan.
Crocs has confirmed that a worldwide release will follow, but they have yet to announce the date.
