Capcom Launches Sweet New Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Merch Collection

A new limited edition merchandise range is set to be released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Resident Evil franchise.
The “Biohazard 30th Anniversary Sweets Collection” features a unique collaboration with the popular icing cookie creator Manna Tanuki.

The Resident Evil series originally debuted on March 22, 1996, and has since become the gold standard for the survival horror genre.
This anniversary marks three decades of players managing limited resources and solving intricate puzzles while escaping terrifying biological threats in Japan and across the globe.

The new collaboration reimagines the gritty atmosphere of the series with a playful aesthetic based on intricate sugar art created by Manna Tanuki.
The creator is known for producing detailed sweets and has gained a massive following of over four million fans on social media.

These items allow collectors to bring a softer side of the franchise to their desks and daily lives through specialized stationery and accessories.

Anyone who spends at least 3,000 yen including one item from the sweets collection will receive one of ten random commemorative postcards.

The rubber keychains will also be available as capsule toy releases for a lower price of 500 yen (approx. $3.30 USD / £2.60 GBP) each, starting in late March.
Official sales are scheduled to begin at retail stores and through the Online PARCO Capcom Store on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Physical retail locations will include the Tokyo, Osaka, Umeda, Annex, Sendai, and Ikebukuro branches of the Capcom Store in Japan.
