Beast of Reincarnation Unveils New Gameplay and Voice Cast

Publisher Fictions and developer Game Freak revealed new details for their upcoming action RPG Beast of Reincarnation during the PC Gaming Show on June 7, 2026.
The game is scheduled to launch on August 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will also have access to the title as a day one release on August 4, 2026.
Game director Kota Furushima confirmed that acclaimed actress Yui Ishikawa will voice the main protagonist, Emma.
The supporting Japanese voice cast includes Miyuki Satou, Akio Otsuka, Sumire Morohoshi, Yu Kobayashi, Akira Ishida, Satoshi Mikami, Rina Satoh, and Tetsuo Kanao.
Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, the narrative follows Emma, a young woman known as a Blightborn who has lost her memories and emotions.
Emma is accompanied by a canine companion named Coo, and together they navigate a world where lush forests can suddenly erupt from barren wastelands.
The gameplay features a synergy between the two characters, combining real-time sword action for Emma with strategic commands for Coo.
Beast of Reincarnation represents Game Freak’s first major AAA project outside of the Pokemon series.
Director Kota Furushima noted that the game aims to create a unified experience through its story, combat, art, and sound design.
