Bandai Unveils Two New Legendary Pokémon Model Kits

Bandai has officially revealed the latest additions to its growing ”Pokémon Plamo Collection Select Series” lineup.
Model builders can now look forward to bringing two of the most imposing legendary creatures from the series to life right on their desks.

Pokémon has been a firm fan favorite for three decades since its 1996 debut on the original Game Boy, cementing its place in pop culture through video games, a trading card game, and animation.

Plamo is an accessible line of snap-fit kits which allowing fans of all skill levels to assemble their favorite characters without needing specialized tools or glue.

The first new announcement highlights a striking alternate color variation of a legendary dragon, with the Black Mega Rayquaza kit capturing the majestic creature in its rare shiny form.

Featuring rotating body segments that allow for highly dynamic posing options, this non-scale model measures over 30 cm in length when fully assembled and stands as one of the most voluminous releases in the history of the Plamo line.

The lower jaw and arms are also fully articulated to add even more display variety, while the intricate color scheme is faithfully reproduced through careful part division.

A custom cloud-themed display base and a dedicated sticker sheet arrive packaged with the kit to complete the presentation.

Joining this legend is the iconic temporal Pokémon Dialga, a steel and dragon-type creature that originally debuted in the Sinnoh region.

This model stands at a substantial 16.5 cm in total height and features multiple points of articulation across its body to easily recreate a variety of cool battle poses.

The kit comes packed with a special clear-cast effect part designed to replicate its signature Roar of Time attack, alongside a dedicated sticker sheet to add precise final details.
