Bandai Spirits opens pre-orders for detailed new figure of Berserk’s Griffith
Pre-orders have officially opened for a highly detailed new action figure of Griffith from the dark fantasy masterpiece Berserk.
The new “S.H.Figuarts Griffith (Band of the Hawk)” joins Bandai Spirits’ popular collector’s line.
S.H.Figuarts is the company’s flagship series of high-quality action figures, typically standing at a standard 1/12 scale (approx. 14-15cm).
The brand is renowned for condensing expert modeling, movement, and coloring techniques into a palm-sized format, prioritizing both realistic character representation and the high articulation necessary to recreate dynamic scenes.
Based on his appearance in The Golden Age Arc, this figure stands approximately 15.5cm tall and features a sculpt designed from the skeletal structure up to achieve both anime-accurate proportions and natural movement.
The figure utilizes a cloth cape embedded with wires, allowing for dramatic, wind-swept posing options.
To ensure the figure can handle dynamic combat poses without compromising its appearance, a new mechanism using soft materials has been adopted for the leg armor.
The set is rich in accessories, including a helmet that can be attached, removed, or displayed open using specific face parts.
In total, the figure includes two interchangeable faces, two specific faces for the helmet, three pairs of hands, a sword, and a handle part.
This release complements other recent high-end Berserk merchandise announcements, such as the life-size “Behelit Collection” from Prime 1 Studio, which features replicas of the crimson Egg of the King belonging to Griffith.
Pre-orders for “S.H.Figuarts Griffith (Band of the Hawk)” opened on December 5, 2025, at general retail stores, such as HobbyLink Japan.
The figure is scheduled for release in July 2026, with a retail price of 12,100 yen (approx. $81.00 USD / £64.00 GBP).
