The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab For The Throne Anime Debuts July 2026

The upcoming television anime adaptation of the light novel series The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne released new promotional details and casting information on March 31, 2026.
The production team confirmed that the series is scheduled to begin its broadcast in Japan in July 2026.

The series follows Prince Arnold, who maintains a public reputation as a lethargic and incompetent royal while secretly operating as the powerful SS-grade adventurer known as Silver.
The main voice cast features Yuma Uchida as Arnold Lakes Adler and Kikunosuke Toya as Leonard Lakes Adler, representing the twin princes at the center of the story.

Supporting roles include Manaka Iwami as Fine von Kleinert, Maaya Uchida as Erna von Amsberg, and Kaede Hondo as Rinfia.

Director Yuji Yanase is leading the project at animation studio MAHO FILM, with Kazeyuki Fudeyasu handling the series composition and Kazuko Tadano providing the character designs.

The original light novels written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi first began publication on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in February 2019.

Kadokawa Shoten has since released fifteen print volumes under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint as of March 31, 2026.

An English version of the series is currently available in digital format through Kadokawa for international audiences.
