Bandai opens orders for MG Gundam Barbatos Lupus expansion parts set
Orders are set to open for a comprehensive new expansion set designed for the latest Master Grade release from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans series.
The new “MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Expansion Parts Set” is designed to enhance the standalone Master Grade model kit.
This set is packed with weaponry and effect parts that allow builders to recreate specific, high-intensity scenes from the anime’s second season.
A major highlight is the inclusion of the massive Valkyrja Buster Sword, which comes with dedicated hand parts and an auxiliary stand to support its weight during posing.
The set also offers selectable parts to reproduce the mobile suit’s damaged shoulder armor, adding a gritty realism typical of the series.
Additionally, a sheet of newly designed water-slide decals is included to add extra detail to the finished model.
This expansion set complements the “MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos Lupus,” which was recently released as part of the franchise’s wider 10th anniversary celebration.
The anniversary has also seen the announcement of high-end collectibles like the “METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos” and the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias.”
The “MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Expansion Parts Set” is priced at 2,970 yen (approx. $19.29 USD / £15.23 GBP).
Pre-orders are scheduled to open on November 25 at 12:00 PM (JST) exclusively via the Premium Bandai online store.
The set is scheduled to ship in February 2026.
